If you want twisties it's time to go where the Vettes go to play. The Three Sisters Loop 335, 336 and 337 in the hill country south of Junction. If you are not a driver or if you get distracted you DIE! I've cruised all of those roads at undisclosed speeds at least a half dozen times...what a blast!

It only takes one trip down there and you'll be hooked. If you like twisties and unbelievably sudden grade changes then it's the place...like a roller coaster that you control. I've been airborne and on three wheels down there and it's no easy task to get a z06 on three wheels.

i have not made it that far south, but i have gone for little fun runs around Brady and to the east (71, 29, 87, 377, etc.). And I will say, it is a blast down there and well word the drive. the further east-southeast you go (toward ATX) the more fun it gets.

that sounds like so much fun! maybe we can set up a fourm wide event for it in the spring?

I was just thinking like a single day trip somwhere close and S.A. is the closest one I could think of that had some twists to it. anyone know of anything that is close >100 miles from anilene?

These roads are childs play compared to the 3 Sisters Loop. Everyone should have the experience at least once.

Just found them on the Map, assuming that you are speaking of Ranch Roads 335 336 337. and those looks like a hell of a drive. I may take the trip down there.

Map of the 2 roads...

335 far left from Hwy 41 to 55, 336 almost centered from Hwy 41 to 83, and 337 to the south from Camp Wood through Leakey and on eastward.

That would be it. Makes most roads in Texas childs play. The 3 Sisters Loop is a favorite amongst the motorcycle crowd(335,336 and 337
). 336 is mostly open range so there are an ass load of cattle guards although they are pretty smooth. 337 towards Bandera, 16 from Kerrville to Bandera, 39 and 1340 outside of Kerrville kick ass as well.
Do these roads only during the off months as there are alot of bikes and traffic during the late spring, summer and fall.

Once you do it you'll be hooked.
